~~KINGDOMS OF CYRENE~~ RP (Need Players)

The guards ignored her's and Tithae's pleas as they literally were dragged to the middle of town. Outside was sunny and clear.

"Please! D-dont!" Winter cried out beginning to struggle against them.

These guards were "picked" for this job because of their muscular bodies and enormous strength. They handled even the most violent criminals. Out in middle of town a crowd was gathered around a large wooden stand with a crane-like pillar equipped with two nooses at the end of each rope, which was about three feet long from the base. A masked man stood near them; he too was muscular. As Winter and Tithae were dragged to the gallows, the crowd's cheer grew louder.

Winter sobbed loudly as she saw the nooses in front of her. She cried when the people cheered. Why where they happy that two people, half human half of their kind was about to be killed?

A lot of people in the crowd shouted "hang 'em high" and "ring their necks". Tithae was silent the whole time.

This just made more tears run down her face as she bit back sob after sob.

(Weird...)

The two guards escorting Winter stopped in front of the gallows beside the two with Tithae.
"Look up there!" barked one of the guards.
Tithae glanced up.

Winter followed their gazes.

A man wearing flashy and expensive attire held a scroll open and started to read it out loud. "Citizens of Targon!" he shouted after clearing his throat. "You stand here before these two Hybrids: one found guilty for murder of a nobleman, and the other for high treason against the crown. They will be hanged by the neck until death." The crowd grew louder. "His majesty has asked for all citizens to witness this betrayal as a warning to all elven kind."

Winter stared horrified. This was really happening. She was going to die.

After he rolled up the scroll and stepped off the platform, the guards carried Winter and Tithae up onto the platform, where they faced the entire crowd.
"I guess I'll see you in the afterlife," Tithae quietly said to Winter. "It's been nice knowing you." His eyes were red from the excess crying.
