Kissing duckling?

O.K I know this is a strange question but do ducklings kiss?

if they do it must be in private because I've never seen them do it. and I have 8 ducks.

LOL, I have 2 pekins that are 3 weeks old and they play with their beaks, opening and nibbling/kissing each other!

Thats sweet, maybe Pekin's show affection that way, i have Muscovies and I've never seen that before. How about a video?

Ducks like to "bill" each other. I think trying to describe it as "kissing" is trying to apply human activities to ducks. Anthropomorphism.

What does it signify when they bill each other? Do you know of a good web site I can find in depth information of duck behavior?

I can try to video it, but it's hard to catch them doing it then get the camera out quick enough to get it.

My 2 pekins do that, too. It's nothing harmful, just... Well I don't know, they just do it. Sometimes they kiss me (Not on purpose, it kinda hurts).

But yeah, it's going to be really hard to catch it on video.

my mallards did that! I tried to get pics but its mostly just them gazing into each others eyes

I swear they were doing it though!
