...OKAY here it goes .... so I've raised all 30+ of my chickens as chicks and am very attached to them and they are pretty affectionate back to me.. my fiance thinks I am bat-sh!t crazy but I love to pick up my cuddliest chickens and hug them and give them little smooches on their cheeks Does anyone else smooch on their chickens!?

This made me laugh!! I am a guilty kisser as well but one of my RIR's is just so sweet, I walk into the coop or run and she runs up to me pecks my foot so I will pick her up and then she nuzzles into me and waits for her smoochies. If I don't give them to her she gripes until I do.
 
I'm fired up. All you closet chicken kissers come out and rejoice. I'm getting a bumper sticker: KISS MY CHICKEN!
 
Yeh, I have been know to give one a cuddle and a kiss!!! I have one very tame hen that always has such a cheeky face and she will fly onto my shoulder when I am feeding or cleaning the pen. I have to pick her up off my shoulder and pet her... and sometimes give her a quick 'peck' on her head lol.

I have never got sick from a chicken in over 15 years keeping chickens and pigeons. but I did get food poisoning from a well known pizza company... so I recon there is more risk eating pizza from giving a chicken a quick kiss.

I'd have to agree, I've been raising chickens since I was little and have yet to get sick - I feel like I should have gotten sick by now if any of my birds were carrying anything!
