it was an awesome episode.

2 people who have appeared on his show have committed suicide. One was a restaurant owner who, by his own words, "drowning in debt". The other was a contestant on Hell's Kitchen. I don't know if I would say that they killed themselves over the show, though no one ever knows why someone would decide to take their own life.
The whole purpose of Kitchen Nightmares is to help the people featured get their business back on track. Of course, it's a reality TV show so you have to expect some of the behavior to be over the top.

With Kitchen Nightmares, the outcome is usually a good one. Same with this episode, however, knowing the place and learning of the dads death, I can totally understand how it went downhill. No bugs and no filth here, no spoiling meat or anything. This about a long time family restaurant and the family in fighting. I am motivated to take a drive and eat there again.
