Kitchen scraps for my flock?

Hi fellow chicken parents! I am curious as to whether you advise feeding my chickens kitchen scraps. I basically throw all cooking scraps and leftovers outside and hope the chickens will only eat what is beneficial to them and leave the rest. FYI, I am a vegetarian who eats mostly organic, non-gmo foods.

Hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving Here's a good article on Treats. Generally treats should be limited to no more than 10% of their total diet to prevent diluting your balanced feed.

I'm going to be honest I do throw my kitchen scraps out to the chickens or crows "everything except toxic foods" and they eat what they want and move on. The chickens don't gorge on the scraps mostly the crows benefit which is fine because they're handy.

Kitchen scraps and treats are okay but 95% of what your chickens eat should be a balanced feed...

Stuff like avacado,beans,and citrus I'm sure there are more but those are the most used here.

Yes! They will love table scraps. That's what my chickies diet is mainly consisted of with the option of chicken feed 24/7. Just avoid to many acidic foods, chocolate, and avocados.
