Cost should be $6.00 a dozen minimum.

I think that there surely is such a timer, but I am sure that it won't be comfy to use because you will always have to turn it on when you need to keep it open for a longer time. It will be better to buy a sensor, install it on the edge of the sink, it will turn the water off when it will reach it. so that you won't cause any flooding in your house. The guys who made the reparation in my house had installed such sensors on each sink in the house. It would take me a long time to break even at $6.00/doz... I guess its like syrup, loose money on every gallon, but we make it up in volume
