Which KitchenAid attachments do you have and how often do you use them? I'm registered for several and am trying to decide what to get/keep.

Here's what I've deemed worth of my limited kitchen space:
1. Ice cream maker
2. Pasta rollers & cutter

What do you have & use? What do you have & not use?

I've got the grinder and love using it to make my own breakfast sausage. I buy pork cuts on sale and make about 4 pounds at a time. The sausage is formed into patties and frozen. It's really good! Time to make some more when the weather cools down.

I just dug out mine today! I have had my Kitchen Aid for years and never once used my attachments of...meat grinder/pasta maker. I will be using it this winter since I have now gotten into making lots of my own things, ...mayo, yogurt, butter, cheese, canning for the first time ever! This is a blast!! Why on earth did I never have an interest till now???

Definitely get the meat/sausage attachment if you ever process your birds!

I am soooooooooooo wanting that attachment. Also, if you have the bread dough attachment already awesome. My friend's didn't come with it, and mine did.... I use it almost once a week!

I have a few others I am looking into... but so far I've never had a 'need' for anything mine didn't come with.

My only complaint...my attachments for the Kitchen Aid are plastic coated(I think plastic)and the covering on my paddle peeled off in large junks. I threw it away, I think they should come in stainless steel. I saw where someone else had the same problem.

They do have them in stainless steel (or at least grey metal)! My mother's kitchenaid has them! I don't know where she got them, but I'm going to ask now because I have the coated ones too. They aren't peeling though and I bake with it about 4-5 days a week for the last 3 years.

My food processor.... oh gee.... I use it 2-3 times a DAY! I need to get the whipping attachment for that!

My attachments (dough hook, whip, paddle) are all aluminum, so no worries about peeling there.

I'm debating the meat grinder/sausage stuffer. I dearly love sausage and it would be nice to have better cuts of meat in them, especially when they go on sale.

Okay so I admit it I am addicted to my KichenAid mixer and attachments.

I have...
2 extra bowls and covers
Ravioli Maker ~ must have with a crib midget
Pasta Sheet Roller ~ must have for cake decorating
Linguine Cutter
Pasta Rack
Food Grinder ~ great for those who hunt or grow your own
Sausage Stuffer ~ must have if you make your own
Rotor Slicer & Shredder ~ must have for Tsukemono

We use the mixer and atleast once a day and so far so good about not having my dough hook not peeling. My MIL also had the grain mill and we used it alot when the the crib midget was just starting food. I cant say enough about the grinder we use it all the time for everything from chicken ~ moose or even bear. Its great! I also love how fast and easy you can make real whipped cream in the mixer. Soo much better than a hand mixer lol
