KitchenAid attachments

The wheat grinder is not worth it. I bake a lot and grind my own flour and it just doesn't get fine enough. It also tends to leave a bit of flour dust on everything nearby since it isn't self-contained. Ick. But if you're just using it to break up grains for your birds into smaller pieces, it should be fine.

After this lovely thread my husband 'slammed' the drawer with my attachments in it last night helping put away dishes. He bent my whisk attachment, and now I need another one... I use it constantly. Almost as much as my paddle.

Has anyone searched for used attachments on ebay?!

I'm thinking I'd like to find someone getting rid of a couple attachments at the same time and just get a few to see what I will use and what I would like. Also what the would cost new is a bit expensive.

My favorite KitchenAid accessory is this beater blade. It is what should be shipped with every KitchenAid Mixer.

This blade scrapes down the bowl and mixes every bit within the bowl, it doesn't miss a thing the way the standard beater does. It's the best $29.00 I've ever spent on that mixer - and free shipping.

OMG that is exactly what I need!!!!

You know after looking at it again..........it looks like it is coated like my original one and I think I will stick with the stainless steel just because of my experience with the coated ones. If you haven't had a bad experience with them then BUY ONE NOW.

My favorite is the shredder/grater/slicer attachment for grating cheese and shredding vegetables - so much faster than hand grating and tastes so much better than pre-shredded!

I just got the three pack that includes: meat grinder, fruit and vegetable strainer and the best part the slicer/shredder. I would recommend these since you do so much canning. The sausage stuffer is separate on cost about $10.00

There is also a new scrapper I would like to get. You can never have enough kitchen toys.

Here is another I think must have for the home canner. I got mine cheaper than this but wanted to show you what it is.
