Kittie has puss on her eye?

Can I put anything in to flush it out? It looks like the lower lid is hanging down a bit away from the eye and the space between is puss filled. No runny nose or odd behavior. Never had kitties that have gotten ill before so no idea what to do!

Could it be an eye infection? If so, the vet can prescribe eye drops that will help clear it up.

Im taking Emma to the vet in a couple of days, maybe the kittie can just go along since we are the last apt of the day anyway.

A warm soft papertowel lightly to wipe away any gunk will do it some good.........then go to Tractor Supply & get Terramycin. That will clear up any eye infection.

It's Vet strength eye antibiotic ointment.

Yep Terramycin will clear it up in no time. Good stuff to just have on hand.

The puss had lessened by the time we got home, and I cleaned her up with a warm, damp paper towel last night. This morning she is still clean and clear...when I get home this afternoon will check again. Still might jsut take her to the vey anyways next week but at least the whatever-it-was in her eye seems to be gone
