Speaking of which, I am assembling Luna’s cat tree as we speak lol

Also, boxes really do work for catching cats... Luna wouldn’t come in so I put a box on the deck.... she came running over

They LOVE the box it came in! Mine actually had instructions on how the make the box into a house for them

Okay.... as promised.... cat tree pictures LOL

Going to put them and the captions in a spoiler.

If you don’t know, I got Luna a cat tree for the first time the other day and assembled it tonight. She LOVES it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so happy. Should have gotten her one years ago LOL bet she’s gonna be really happy when I move it next to a window tomorrow and she can stalk the birds and chipmunks

At first she only seemed interested in the box so I was a little nervous...


“This is a nice box. Thanks for the present.”


Decided to sit ON the instructions... very helpful.


Testing the quality before assembly.


Potate.


“Eh, it’s alright.”


Found her new favorite spot I think.


Then she decided the rug was better...


But eventually tried it out.


At first she didn’t explore too much, she was very tired and sleepy.


But then I put her on the top platform and she immediately discovered the toys started playing like a kitten


Scratching her claws. Maybe this will save the furniture. you can also see the mouse swinging. She had just played with that too lol


This was right before she launched a near lethal attack on the stuffed mouse.


Surveying her kingdom.


And of course the finished product lol

Definitely worth it! Best 50 bucks I ever spent LOL and yes!! She thought she was so helpful sitting on all the parts testing them out and I think she definitely is! Lol sure she’ll be even happier tomorrow when she’s more awake. Long day outside. She went further than usual (all over the yard even to front/driveway when normally she hangs in the back) so she was exhausted LOL kept flopping down on the rug. then kept letting me scratch her belly, purring, and not wanting to move LOL and falling asleep in place poor thing but of course I wasn’t done until like 9:30 lol maybe tomorrow she will explore more. but she does at least seem to love the comfort of it and sleeping on it.
