Kitty and Dog Thread, Show Me What You Got, other critters welcome too

I'll never understand how people can toss away animals. I always wanna save them all! I've rescued and re-homed over 30 cats over the years, some young and some older.
However your feline came into your care, bless you for the love you give it.

Good thing is once we have a critter here, it's here for it's whole life. I take my commitment to them seriously. I wish others would too. Kitties are not disposable.

Unfortunately not all quaint countryside as the telly portrays. Ooh what do you get on PBS? We get a few US channels & programmes over here. Fave is def Big Bang Theory & Young Sheldon.

We used to watch a show back in the 80's - 90's, Are You Being Served that was hilarious. We also watched Doctor Who with Tom Baker as the doctor.

PBS also runs all kinds of movies about English people. I can't recall all the names.

I love the British Baking show, fascinating all the various baked items they make.

I also watch BBC. I love anything Richard Attenborough does. I also read all the James Harriet books, and love Harry Potter. I also love Ricky Gervais, but apparently he's controversial? I especially loved the show he did called an Idiot Abroad with Carl. . Apparently not many people watched that but me.

I always try to catch any of the episodes of House Hunters International on HGTV if they are in England. I guess my vision of England is skewed by tv and movies? Seems so quaint and kooky.

Also kinda weird but I also used to watch tons of British YouTubers. I don’t really watch YouTube anymore but I used to love this one I think his name was Charlie lol charlieissocoollike or something like that

I have a lot of respect for you and the fact that you care for your animals for a lifetime. I only take on what I can financially handle, but I don't turn away anything that needs help.

Sometimes people drop off cats because I live in the country. I once found three kittens in my driveway, so small their umbilical cords were still attached. They were bottle-fed and grew to be wonderful cats.

Oh my gosh! That is so sad but I would love to have one of those! To be able to save a little precious kitty .. I’ve done it with plenty of squirrels, baby ducks, a nutria.. even some baby chicks someone dropped off at a park.. but never a kitty... I love to watch those videos on YouTube... but I truly HATE the fake ones people make.. just to make a video.. they actually put the poor animals in more danger!!

Sounds like you do plenty of rescuing. And that is wonderful. As for YouTube videos, not sure what you mean. And fake ones? People do that?
