Sounds like you do plenty of rescuing. And that is wonderful. As for YouTube videos, not sure what you mean. And fake ones? People do that?

Oh yes! Just for views.. I saw one the other day where the guy was filming coming upon a wriggling bag on the side of the road.. he was trying to be dramatic I guess and just took FOREVER to slowly ‘untie’ the bag... not hurrying up and rip the plastic bag apart!! And took out two puppies which looked to be about five weeks old panting so hard!! They were in a plastic bag

That's horrible. I had no idea people pulled stunts like that.

I have seen others.. when I can tell it’s fake I stop watching as it makes me angry!
We have also had people here throw kittens out of car windows on the hwy/interstate! That has happened numerous times!

That is downright awful! I never knew people faked videos like that. And worse, that babies are tossed away like that without a real fighting chance.

Yes.. it is horrible!!
But I do LOVE the videos where they rescue the dogs with horribly mangled fur and give them a make over! I could watch those all day
I would to do some of those as I do groom my own dogs a lot of the time!

Hope I'm not interrupting a thread community here, but I'd love to show off my fur babies.
This is Aria. She's 14 and never got the memo. She still thinks she's a kitten.

And this is Leo. He found his way to us after a nasty thunderstorm. Started as a porch cat, but quickly snuck his way inside and into our hearts. Vet says he's 4 months old.

Thank you so much! I do spoil Aria a bit. I'm very fond of calicos~ ❤ And when we first found Leo, or rather, when he found us, the poor guy had a cold, so he had kitten goobers around his eyes.

He's doing much better now. Almost time for his next vet trip, actually. (And thanks for the warm welcome! I really like this place.)
