My dog jumps 8 feet in the air to get oranges off of orange trees.

I had a dog that loved Brussel sprouts, he thought frozen ones were better than ice cream. We had one that ate the apples out of our apple tree, he would jump and then climb to get the ones on top, he weighed 50 lbs. Animals are weird.

My cat loves lettuce, especially spinach. She will swipe it right off your plate if you don't share with her. I cant have any plants in the house or fresh flowers, because she will destroy (eat) them. If I come home with anything that LOOKS like it was once a plant, she will follow me around the house until she can inspect it. Before I got her, I had a mini garden of african violets I grew from cuttings, she destroyed them all over time

Now, I just know not to keep any plants in the house unless I want them to be eaten.

I had a chihuahua terrier mix who would pick blackberries and huckleberries with me when I was a kid. It was very comical watching him pick blackberries VERY carefully with his lips peeled back, standing on his hind legs very carefully like a circus dog (he would also alternate walking on his front and hind paws when I walked him in the winter!
