How lovely! Love heritage breeds! I grew up on a large sheep farm in Oz - that was mainly Merinos! I'd love to run a few sheep but just don't have the land (only have 3/4 of an acre).Three shetland, one Gotland/Finn/Shetland and one Romney/Icelandic/CVM
Their fleeces are all unique, but mostly fall into the "medium wool" category for fineness. I like having a variety of natural colors and differenet textures to play with
I crochet I love to make things for other ppl!
I crochet. Love it! I taught myself by watching video tutorials and doing everything backwards because I'm a leftie!Does anyone else do old fashioned crafts, like knitting, crochet or sewing? Besides me that is?
But that's more than a lot of folks know when it comes to crochet and sewing!Haha! You know, I often wonder about things similar to that. Like let's say an EMP goes off and the entire US is now thrown back to doing everything without electricity. A lot of jobs would be pointless and you would probably have to learn a trade or craft to live.
Or what if time travel were real and something happened to throw you back in time hundreds of years ago. How would you survive? For myself I don't really have much to offer, lol. I know one sewing stitch and I can do single or double crochet but I haven't learned anything else because I haven't needed to for the stuff I've made.
