I put the new girls down into the lower coop with the younger pair of orps - they are getting along great - no fighting at all down there.

Next time I'll leave hubby at home so I can take more birds with me

Shelley, the guy I bought my buff silkie pullet from has an ad on Craigslist Louisville again for silkie chicks. He wants $5.00 each for them. Give him a call and let me know, and I might be able to swing for a couple of them for you and pick them up. You can pay me later.

I went to the Shepherdsville swap today, came home with a really nice handmade 2 hole nest box, 4 young racing homer hens, and two white silkie (hopefully) pullets.

Spent the rest of Saturday, with the help of my neighbor sheathing the new pigeon loft. Now just have to put the wire on the front, the roofing material on, the door, and attach a flight cage for them, and then paint it, and finish the trim work. And then I have to build the new Rabbit hutches and finally build the palace de poulet.

Effective Monday I will have a new home telephone number. It will be 502-778-9011. Got a sweet deal through the cable company, $55.00 + taxes a month for cable, internet and phone.

Hey all, I need to sell some birds ASAP to raise money for car rental. My brother was killed in a car accident last night, and I need to be able to get to Texas for the services.

I have a lot of younger chicks, about 2-3 months old. I have a pair of golden comets, a columbian rock cockerel, some buff and black cochins, a buttercup, a pair of young mille fleur d'uccles, some ducks, both young and full grown, a black ameraucana cockerel, a golden lakenvelder cockerel, 6 golden lakenvelder chicks, some LF blue and splash ameraucanas chicks, some bantam mottled cochin chicks, a few white silkie chicks, some mixed breed LF and bantam chicks, just a whole bunch of chicks and chickens. I might even sell some of my quail. I have jumbo browns, A&Ms, tuxedos, and goldens. I think that's about it....thanks to anyone who can help me out.
