No clue at this point. My friend said that he is only sure about one of them right now..and that one is a girl.

Can't you do the quack test with calls? The girls quack and the boys don't?

I am not familiar with them at all..but this is what he told me.

They ought to have their adult colors by now, or be getting them, anyway. Mine have their adult colors (mostly). I believe they were hatched in late March or early April.

quack test is harder sometimes with calls, because the males can fool you

had that happen with my whites. I had to wait for curly tails to show up to figure out what I had with the white ones.

Since they are priced at $75 for all, instead of individually, I would assume straight run anyway. However, he said he would sell them individually for $15 each..at which point you would be able to make your selection.

Another request for fertile Salmon Faverolle eggs. Getting together with scbirdsfarm didn't work out, (distance/timing problems) so I need to find another breeder.

I'd like to find some near enough that I can go [pick them up, or arrange transport in someway that does not involve the post office. I'm tired buying eggs to not hatch. (My own hens' eggs hatch just fine, so I know it's not the incubator, or something I'm doing wrong.)

Anyway, I'm in Hart county, that's a bit south of Elizabethtown, nearly smack in the center of KY, running N /S on I-65, a bit toward the west running E/W.

I'm willing to drive a couple of hours, but 9 hour trips are too much.

Anybody with SF's going to the Chickenstock in Adair County, Sept. 19th? I'll be there, if that would be a good place to meet up.

I have healthy barnyard mix fertile eggs, if anybody is interested. Next year I'll have some purebreds.

If you decide you'd be interested in a faverolle cockerel, I've got one (bantam). He's a nice guy, but I don't need him.
