Has anyone ever gotten birds or chicks from Mark Jesse in Waddy, KY? I got some pullets and some chicks from him this past summer. The white Ameraucanas he sold me lay blue eggs! I ended up letting them go to a new home after my diseased flock incident and I miss them. He emailed me and said he's going to be hatching more chicks at the beginning of March if anyone is interested. I can't wait to get some to go in my new flock. (I am now being super careful to only get hatchery birds or chicks from healthy sources, no more grown pullets for me...)

Last year he had golden comets, easter eggers, white ameraucanas, buff orps and buff orp/rir crosses, and a few welsummers. All the birds I got were beautiful and healthy! My four welsummers all turned into roosters though, go figure lol.

I'd love to meet up with Mark and maybe get some of his birds....

It's about 50 miles for me but if they're nice, clean, and not too expensive, I'd like to add some of those white Ameracaunas.

Do you know some of the breeds of chickens he has?
