Hey guys, just thought you'd like to know I went to the Elkton sale at Bluegrass Sales and Stables today.

The place was clean, considering. All the birds/bunnies looked well cared for, for the most part. A few cages had too many birds in them, but there werent any obviously sick birds that I could see (I got there late). In fact, I bought myself three EE hens and a Roo (who I managed to get rid of BEFORE I left!). The hens are doing great, and are healthy and robust. The people there are also, for the majority, very very nice. They had a wide variety of animals there......ornamental and common breeds of duck and chicken....bunnies.....turkeys....chicks and adults......pheasants......and I got there late, to boot!

Just thought that you all would like to hear how it went for me to see if you all might like to go.

Just make sure you quarantine them from the rest of your flock. There are some diseases that they can carry that don't show its ugly head until the bird is stressed (molting, moving, etc.). Congrats on the new birds
