La Flèche Roo

Hello!

We brought home a la flèche roo tonight to add to our flock of 11 hens in a month or so. We chose him for his handsome appearance and hadn’t heard of the breed before. We’re now having a hard time finding any useful information on this breed. We know he will be flighty and likes to free range but what we don’t know is how they are at guarding chickens from predators (hawks specifically), what is their typical temperament and are there any special precautions we need to take with a flighty breed (i.e. lengthy quarantining to establish home)?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know anything about this breed. I'm thinking a rooster is a rooster and he will protect the flock. Flighty... I would make sure the run has a roof and don't free range until he knows where home is.
