Some deep irony here. Now I no longer have chickens to look after, I have all those irritating things required to get a Premium Feather Membership like money and a phone number.
I've been coming here since 2018, lots. I''ve got to know some lovely people here and I've spent many happy hours on these forums.
My pension stretches to PFM, so before I blow it all on exciting stuff like living expensesI thought I would try to make at least a small contribution to the site.
You probably CAN afford a PFM BECAUSE you no longer are paying all the 'Feather' bills for your flock.
Seriously, though, my flock is expensive! (mostly because I'm fairly new and building more/better/different housing and runs...and because I choose to feed organic & soy free because of my own health issues. The 'soy free' part is a killer on feed costs! However, since I want to make it to a time when I can be like you (i.e. living on a pension
), it is worth it!
