Welcome To BYC

She's stationary in a cage now, does she breath better if you let her out to her own devices?

Have you looked inside her beak/throat for any obstruction, signs of mucous, canker, lesions?

What does her crop feel like?

Anything feel like a large air bubble under the skin along her body near the 9 air sacs?

Have you added new birds to your flock recently or do you have a history of respiratory illness within your existing flock(s)?

She breathes normally while she's roaming around, but will eventually sit down and start the open mouth breathing and wheezing. Today, while she's been isolated, I've only noticed the open mouth breathing but no wheezing/sneezing. Sometimes she is breathing normally too.

I did look in her beak and I didn't notice anything abnormal. I will try again though because it was hard to do.

Her crop feels normal. It was empty this morning.

I am not noticing anything that feels like a large air bubble.

No new birds and no history of any illness.
