We picked up what we’re supposed to be 2 blue laced red Wyandotte chicks a couple months ago.
We don’t mind on color either way (or the wrong comb) because we love the color anyway, just more curious as to what color it actually is. Darker blue laced red? Gold laced? Black laced red?
1st photo: blue laced red
Other photos are of the chicken in question.

The blue laced will hatch out 50% blue laced, 25% black laced, and 25% splash laced. Likely this is the reason for the color difference.

It looks like you ended up with 1 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, and the others are Black Laced Red. Blue does not be true. You will end up with some Blue Laced, some Black Laced, and some Splash (white) Laced.
