Yesterday, my hen, Aurora, broke off one of her Pinless Peepers so today she got a new one with her name on it. She did get to enjoy some time without one, but as I was watching the flock earlier, I kept seeing her go after other hens' hackles, so the issue is still there.

One thing, because I've put on so many Pinless Peepers, I don't do half the stuff I'd tell someone new at it to do. As you can see in this picture, I just perch a leg on something, put the hen on my lap, then put my arm around her. Then (not pictured) I hold her head with one hand while I use the other hand to put the Pinless Peeper on.
I really wish I could get to the root of the plucking, but at this point with this flock, it seems fairly hopeless, and is one of the reasons I'm considering doing a restart on my flock. It could be the grain, which I'm really hoping it's not, because if it is, then I should just get out of chickens all together because it'll forever be a problem. Poulin Grain is what is readily available in my area, and is what I've always used, then other options don't look promising, so it's what I'll be sticking with.
