Ladies First Chicken Door Issues/Support

@Scott204 I hear that, I work midnights myself. My tracking number updated today and shows delivery tomorrow so I guess for those who read this later and may be in the same predicament, my door took 1 day shy of 6 weeks to arrive.

I wanted to take some time and get on the forum and talk about The Ladies First Chicken Door production issues.

Because of the coronavirus there has been a large increase in backyard chicken keeping and we have experienced abnormally high demand.

Yes, as RebelChief mentioned, this was previously a one man show. However, because of the increased demand we have moved into a much larger space 3 weeks ago and hired on several more people to help meet the demand.

These doors are made to order in the United States and there are many steps to make each one. We are proud of our product and have made constant improvements and different versions over the past 5 years. We feel there are a lot of great features on this door which has also increased the demand.

It has been difficult trying to balance making the doors and replying to emails. Previously we have had 2 published emails to keep up with and respond to. Now we are only using the [email protected] to make it easier to keep up with all the emails we receive on a daily basis.

Chris received his door and his cute and very funny son made a video about it and put in on the Ladies First Chicken Door Facebook page under visitor posts. Thank you Chris!

I apologize to Jesse and Scott and everyone who has had to wait for 6 weeks. We never intended for it to take that long. Thank you very much for waiting and I hope it has not inconvenienced anyone too much. We are already starting to make them faster with the increased help and larger space.

We appreciate the patience we have received from many customers and would like to ask for your continued patience during this difficult time. And please rest assured we are doing everything we can to make the doors as fast as we can 7 days a week.

Thank you,

Matt

I received mine just recently after waiting about 6 weeks. I was ok with that because there was a notice on the website that said there would be a delay. I ordered mine with plenty of time before I needed it as I was building my coop. I now have it installed and it is working perfectly. It was worth the wait for sure. The chicks will move into the coop next weekend.

Greetings, this is my first time logging on to the forum, and I stumbled upon this thread about the Ladies First hen house door...
I have been running one for over two years with no problems. I have recommended the door to friends who have been running them for at least a year without problems.
I know it is frustrating when orders are delayed, but I can at least tell you that the company is real, and the door works well.

Installed my ladies first chicken door Saturday and I absolutely love it so far! I love sleeping in! I’m not sure how long mine took to get here but I think it was about six weeks but well worth it.

What did you end up finding out? Mine have worked perfectly all summer and this morning both are stuck and flashing green

My neighbor had one of those door openers, and had nothing but trouble. She gave me an e-mail address ... Idk if it'll help...
[email protected]
Good luck :fl
She ended up sending hers back and getting a different brand. :hmm
That is the wrong email address which would explain why you haven't heard back from the company. Matt is extremely helpful and responsive if you use the proper email [email protected]
