Do you honestly think that the hawks would not know your chickens were there unless "called in" by your neighbour?
The only person you are upsetting is you.
Next time the horse lady comes, look the other way, pretend she is not there and I guarantee you will notice no difference to you or your chickens life. And talking about life, you may want to get one.

If you read her original post she mentioned that she wasn't having a hawk problem and started losing chickens after this lady started feeding the hawks, this is why she is concerned and taking action.
Now I'm off to speak with Department of Financial Services and The Fire Marshall... since they are the ones that know about the law. Even though the law quotes the Department of Agriculture...
I'll be calling them tomorrow, as they are now closed. I'm praying that I can get an answer this time, and that they can tell me what the rules are pertaining to this law.
