Vorwerks and Lakenvelders are two different things. American has made the vorwerk almost extinct by breeding them with Lakenvelders to create the golden Lakenvelder.

At an APA poultry show in 2012 - I saw Lakenveders, Golden Lakenvelders and Vorwerk all shown and labeled as such.

So... Vorwerk vs Golden Lakenvelder?
