"Quit now!" The Dark Valasca roared as she gained control.

Kate growled, lashing out at the owl with her front paws, raking them across her face.

Kate lunged again, her mind finally working right again. She grabbed Valasca with in her claws and jerked her to the ground, sinking her claws into her wings and tearing out her flight feathers.
