Kenai and the brothers wreaked havoc in the skies, raiding nests and taking young birds, but they didn't take the birds for any reason. They just ate them. They laughed evilly and flew on, searching for sturdy looking children.

The wolf walked along, inside the rock. Suddenly, he was sucked into a large vortex, taking him somewhere. He didn't fight it, he simply allowed himself to get sucked in.

After the wolf had gone through the vortex, he silently flew behind the brothers.

Ranik laughed evilly, chasing a fox pup.

The wolf chuckled, watching Ranik for a few seconds before swooping down and grabbing a sooty owllet who was on the ground.

Ranik picked up the fox pup in a ball of cool fire. He was able to ensure that the pup wasn't hurt when he took it back to the "Smoke Wolf", as he and his brothers called the strange wolf that freed them.

The wolf flew over to them, holding the owllet firmly in its jaws as it tried to struggle.

"We never caught your name." Jakis said respectfully as he caught a wolf pup.

"Well... okay." The pup began. "I was practicing my flying skills by gliding down from branches in trees." Two snowy white feathered wings briefly flared from his back. "And this big, black wolf with red glowing eyes comes along and tears me to shreds... and that's really all I remember up until now."
