Daru watched silently. She shook her head and herded her pups back into the den. "Young ones...they never learn..." She was speaking of Rocky, he had a lot to learn about being respectful to his elders. He needed to learn how to reply to them before he got hurt.

"If I may speak, Valasca. " Daru said meekly "I think the human should prove his worth. With someone to always watch him. We can see if he can be trusted with small matters before trusting him with our lives. But that is just the thought of an inexperienced she-wolf..." She bowed.
