Daru slowly stood. The bleeding stopped and the wound closed. "Thank you." she said.

"You are welcome. You will need to rest to recover completely. The rest of us must plan our war strategy."

Daru staggered to her den.

Valasca flew off to her nest.

Valasca returned a few hours later. She brought a fresh rabbit for Daru. "This should help you keep your strength up"

"I also brought you some herbs to prevent any infection from the bullet" She walked over and placed the herbs in front of Daru
