He gave them a short nod. "Follow me." He phased through the wall, leading them through the canyon and to the same meadow where they glided down from branch to branch. "Flex your wings as you walk."

When they reached the meadow it turned to them. "Today, you're going to fly." It turned back around and ran along, flapping its wings. It slowly glided in the air, flapping gracefully. "Don't worry about how much noise you make at first; we'll cover that later." It landed softly on the grass.

The foal, still not used to flying, flipped a few times in the air before landing on her back. Arcturus flew alongside Garron while Nyra flew alongside Faedon.

The foal got back up, still struggling somewhat. She flapped her wings as she took back off into the air.
