The wolf watched them go as Arcturus landed on the ground, eating the rabbit. Nyra swooped down and grabbed a field mouse, killing it instantly. The foal grazed on some grass.

After swallowing her mouse whole Nyra flew alongside Faedon, though she was aiming for a blue bird.

Faedon dove for a mouse, snatching it up in her jaws.

Nyra caught the bluebird, sinking her talons into its wings. She plucked the feathers off and gulped it down, flying back to where the Smoke Wolf and Arcturus were waiting.
