The pup, still not seeing them, bounded closer to them, allowing Reid to see it was the arctic wolf pup that Kate had rescued.
Reid recognised him and poked his head up above the snow "Hello Eko."
"Did you get him out of there?!"
"Yeah" Reid pulled the rest of himself and Jack up onto the surface "We need to get him back quickly though, he is hurt."
Eko's stomach twisted in knots as he saw Jack's leg, barely hanging on by a few tendons before his face turned serious. "Take me back with you; I've discovered something about the smokewolf and its urgent. Kate and her team need to be told right away."
Reid nodded and readjusted Jack on his back so he could carry him easier "Come with me." He took off running as fast as he could with Jack's extra weight, his paws sending up poofs of snow.
(Does he have wings like Maria does?)
Eko nodded and ran after him, flapping his wings.
(No)
Reid's chest heaved from the strain of carrying Jack, but he kept running the last few miles until they reached the camp.
Reid shook his head "No its alright. We're almost back""I can take him if you want" Eko offered, noticing him straining.
