The children waited silently for Gabby's report.

Gabby pointed at a drawing in the sand. "It went well. Enemy's main base is here, and possible base here, here, and here."

Garron and his friends nodded gravely.

The smokewolf, Gabby, FanDance, Kismet, the snake, and the armadillo debated for a while on their plans. Otulissa and her friends listened.

Garron and his friends listened carefully. Garron could remember everything the others said, because he was born with photographic memory.

About 30 minutes into it, a snowy owl flew in. Exasperation washed over the soldier's faces when they saw him.

"Boron, what did I tell you about being late for first tier meetings?" The smokewolf said sharply.
