"I know your leader's style, he won't kill Kinah." Kovi growled.

"You know nothing of the Master." Garron growled, walking from behind the rest of the patrol.

"Garron!" The pack gasped.

"Well, in a way you're right. Provided Odasa doesn't joke around, he'll be fine." Jaclyn said coldly. "If Odasa doesn't take our threats seriously, he can kiss Kinah's sorry butt goodbye."

"If we aren't good enough, ask Kate's team." Samantha added smugly "They thought we were joking around, and guess what? Kate's history."

A scared Dachu, sister of Dacu, whispered something in Kovi's ear. Kovi responded with a snarl, sending her back into the den, shaking.

Jaclyn chuckled to herself when she saw Dachu. She and Jerome led the siblings closer and closer to them, clearly looking for a fight.

"We don't want to fight, we only wish to continue our lives peacefully as we have since before the war." Kovi said calmly.

"Then stop helping our enemies and maybe we won't be tempted to fight you." Gretchen growled.

"I am a healer, I must help all who come to me injured." Kovi said.

 

[OwlLover]

"Then we're enemies." Samantha said matter-of-factly.

"Is it my fault that the Elders chose for me to be a healer?" Kovi challenged.

"No, but if you help our enemies you are considered an enemy as well."
