Once Jack was in his room, he flopped down on the bed and squeezed his eyes shut, as though trying to block out painful memories. His stomach twisted into knots, giving him awful cramps and only worsening his headache. Sweat formed on his skin, dampening his fur and making it stick to her body. Hot and wet. After an hour of this he rolled out of bed, pressing his head to the cold stone floor in an attempt to calm his pounding head.
After about an hour of this Jack gave up fighting. He got up shakily to his feet, his legs trembling in the process, and headed out the door. He walked slowly down the hallway, exiting the castle on the other side and disappearing into the bushes.
