Ranu tried to choke back a reply, though only blood came out. Eric, Malik, Nelek, and Jerome lashed at Ranu's body with the vines, tearing flesh and leaving large red marks where they hit.


Nelek walked along down the canyon after he caught Ranu, and bodies of creatures that had died years ago lie on the ground. A familiar shape of an arctic fox was right in front of them after a few steps: it was Kate.

The brothers didn't stop, it was as if Mitar hadn't even spoken. "Please stop..." Ranu whimpered.

Nelek muttered something too quiet for the real Ranu to understand when they reached Kate's body, kicking it out of the way. It sounded like paper as it skid across the stone, it was clear that she had been dead for at least a month. Her fur was caked against her body, and her throat was torn up.

Mitar struggled against the chains, yelling for them to stop.


"W-what are you going to do to me?" The real Ranu whimpered.

They continued ignoring him until Ranu had been beaten to the death. They skidded her body over to Mitar, while Jaclyn and Samantha walked in a slow, steady circle around him but kept a distance so that he couldn't bite them.

"So, Mitar" Jaclyn purred in his ear "How does it feel to face the consequences of betraying your friends?" She hissed.


"Keep your mouth shut, or I'll shut it for you" Nelek snarled, baring his teeth inches from her face.

"You bet that carcass they were." She hissed. "They cared for your well being. They bent over backwards for you. And what do you do? Smack them in the face, and betray them. These are the consequences for that." Without waiting for a reply she and her siblings flew down the canyon, looking for Nelek. Eric kicked Ranu in front of Mitar as he was the last to follow his siblings.

"They only wanted me because I could crush their enemy!" He snapped. "They were full of fear when I joined Gina's team!"
