Something glowed at the top of the staircase, and when he reached the top it was revealed to be a set of flecks together. There were blue lines going outside it, and it emitted a blue smoke. A small bat woke up and tried to take the fleck from him.

The cub gave it the fleck, then walked back to the others.

The bat tried to carry it off, though quickly found it was too big. It screeched, and another bat flew in, grabbing the flecks in its claws as it flew away. The flecks tried to grab onto the cub's back but quickly released when they were a good distance away. When the cub got back to his spot there was another pellet thrown in front of him.
