Lakia: The Dark Era

Zenobia ascended slightly to the sky to get a better view of the land

From the sky she saw a clearer path about 30 yards east. "Hmm I can cut him off from there" She said heading towards it.

Zenobia began to run fiercely hoping cut him off at the exit before he reached her. "Your mine today Jack"

(Lol I won't kill him he's too interesting.) (Temporary capture?)

Zenobia neared her point of crossing over. "Now or never" She thought as she headed towards the merging point

Being smaller and native to the thick, jungle-like forest, Hades had no trouble slipping through the forest. He paused to let her catch up and reply to the question. "No, I don't. But what I think doesn't matter, not to those who do not appreciate outsiders." With that said he waited for her to catch up, then continued. As they walked it became apparent that they were slowly climbing a mountain. The temperature was still warm but the air was thinner and the occasional patch of fog would roll past them on its way to sea level.

Juniper was unaffected by the decrease in oxygen because of her respitory system, but the dense foliage threatened to slow her down. A sharp twig almost jabbed Juniper in the eye and she partly tripped over a fallen branch. Juniper muttered to herself and flicked the branch aside. "Not to complain, but how much farther?" She questioned, trying to keep a whiney tone out of her voice.
