Hello all and thanks for the welcome.

Well I have the 3 CornX and they are enormous as expected. Still can't tell their sex but the more I read the more it leads me to believe I need to kill em in 3 weeks.

I would like to keep em around for a hobby and try and diet restrict and exercise them but the death rate is so high and South Dakota summers are usually in the 95 to 110 range.

Any adventurers out there who would dare me to try?

You certainly can try to keep past that age but be forewarned, they will suffer later on. There are plenty of posts on Cornish X's under the Meat Chicken forum and you can find many sources of folks like yourself that wants to try to keep cornish x's up to a year.

Anyone wanna give me pointers on how to keep track of this place. Some boards are easier to see new posts...but there are soooo many new posts that doesn't help.
