When I got him his spurs were so long they curved up toward his chest. Looked like they poked him as he walked. Sometimes they would trip him. I checked on him one day and one had completely fallen off. So after web search I saw how to remove them so took the other off. Now I should be able to maintain them easily.
The whiter one is the one I tried trimming but was still too long. The other is the one that fell offf by itself.
Extremely too long!
I found an article about non surgical bumblefoot remedies. They've had great results using Ichthammol and Tricide Neo soaks. I think the infection is in that toe.
