Landers, Wyoming Birth....

I'm 5'5 and I weigh 175, I was 175 starting out with our first son, and there's simply no way that I would have missed feeling him moving around in there, and he was only 6lbs 7.5oz. Sure, sometimes it feels like the most god-awful case of the poohs when they're pinching your intestines around, but, I just can't see how anyone would miss it when they flip around or something similar. And, even with me being overweight, even early in my pregnancies, I could be laying on the couch and have a remote or something on my belly and get it kicked across the room by the baby. How anyone could miss something like that without figuring out that something was "wrong" is beyond me.

And, people who "poop" their babies out into the toilet, seriously, I don't know how you couldn't tell that you're not about to take a number 2. If you mistake labor and delivery for taking a number 2, then I really, truely think that there may be something wrong with your digestive tract.

Maybe that's part of the issue.....no daddy in the picture. The 20 year old I spoke about in an earlier post doesn't know and I think that was part of her denial. Ignore it and it will go away and you don't have to face what you've done.

Denial ???? I cannot for the life of me understand how some one would even think the world would believe such a stupid statement as, "Golly gee, I had no clue I was pregnant !"

But, my main concern here is the baby. You know, some children just DO NOT deserve the parents they end up with.

I don't believe for a moment someone can't know.

ETA...you are so right about the babies involved.

Well, glad this has given a lively topic, lol! I have heard of women that have had a baby without knowing. My SIL had her monthly most of her pregnancy with her oldest. She had back labor and if your out doing all the physical work she has done, a painful back could mimic labor pains.
I don't know tho.
As for who the daddy is...she is on a ranch, male to female ratio certianly leaves little to the imagination!!! LOL.
Either way, I should think you'd know if you was in the family way too!

I'm a dairy farmer and worked right up until my girls were born. I don't know how you could confuse labor and a painful back from working, although I didn't have back labor. But, once they get pretty reg. timed? And you would have had to get past the baby moving bit first.

I stick with VERY STRONG DENIAL!

YOU AND I THINK ALIKE MI AMIGO!

Who is the FATHER??????? They don't even address it!! What's up with that???

I can't write what my wife said when I read the article to her.

Unbelievable.

I had back labor, and there's absolutely no way that you could possibly confuse THAT with regular back pain. Not unless if you were in some type of train wreck and did some serious and permanent damage to your back, but even then, I think you'd know. Unless, of course, if you were paralysed, then maybe...
I was in labor for 52.5 hours (counting contractions from the time that they had become regular 10 minutes apart) and in labor with contractions 2-3 minutes apart for about a day and a half, all being back labor. I knew what was going on, but I swear that I thought I was dying. Even if you somehow missed the pregnancy part, if you were in that much pain, you'd be heading to the hospital thinking that you were dying, lol.
