Here are some of the girls relaxing in some cool turf lily. Like I mentioned...its the only stuff that holds up to all the all the animal traffic & shade.

Yep....I have both liriope and mondo grass. Stay green all year. I cut it once late winter. Loves shade.

I try to never cut grass in winter...Just too hard to keep the mower running that time of year.

Yeah, I hear you, Ralph. My mower bogs down in the 3 - 6' of snow we seem to get every winter.

I’m so sorry to learn the news of a major contributor to this thread. Memphis. May she have the most glorious of gardens with lappers and turkeys on garden gates.

This thread was so great I think in large part of her wonderful interest and additions. I will miss her. RIP Memphis.
