When these two are gone I won’t have any more.
Too expensive for Veterinary care and farrier, feed, bedding… try to get hay in was horrid this year. I am too old now.

There will be more space then.. sad as it will be. Only stands to reason that you will have even more chickens

And that darn Truly is truly making me annoyed once again breaking her stall guard. She has likely fallen sleep standing up and fallen over again.

Well, Cardhu appears to be done. She laid an egg today and is up on the high roost tonight. Her trio are up where they spent the night last night. I think the trio would be welcomed for warm up with Focus and/or PITA, but will bear watching.

Whoa Nelly! My ladies hold their kiddies for months! Georgie and Holly still are together, after she started laying she still stayed with Holly.

And now broody together

I know right? I should just let her wander the aisle way. And she’s good about going into her stall to poop

I would love to leave her outside but if it rains gets muddy and she falls down she can’t get up. Such a worry.
