LANGSHAN show.

I tried to get some decent Langshan photos while I was out at the farm yesterday. They were milling all around in and out of the huge mustard plants. I took several pics but none of them turned out very good. Here are a few of the best:

This one is funny! There are 5 or 6 roos and one tiny mixed breed hen. She must be easy because her back is all bare. It's the Langshan boys and their groupie!

She's beautiful! So sorry that she passed. Hopefully, someone will chime in with a source for another pullet for you. I'm on the west coast and just starting my breeding program so I don't have any extras right now plus I'm too far away. Do you have an incubator or a friend with one who is willing to hatch for you? You would probably get eggs easier than a pullet.

On a fluke I found a post for "multiple breeds" on CL and when I opened the add there was a picture of some Langshan's! The add was for eggs but she is going to sell me 3 chicks tonight (she just started breeding this breed) and she's only 2 towns over. My 6 yo daughter will be thrilled when I surprise her with this tonight. Thank you for your kind words

Don't you love it when everything works out in such a timely manner!

This is Roo Gargamel, he's a good boy... This was last fall when he was about 7 months old, he's bigger and filled out more now
Nice looking young boy! It is amazing how much these boys fill out the older they get! You will have to join us on the BYC Langshan thread! We are not very active but have some nice people who are always willing to help those of us who are new to Langshans!
