Langshan Thread!!!

Sure is! that is Bambi - she is not shy LOL!

I know this isn't BYG but...

we had these twins hatch three years ago. One was born with a "01" on her side. Shes our racing goat. She still has the marking.

I finally got around to uploading the pics of our splash rumpless/tailless Langshan pullet. Isn't she cute?! She is not going to be part of our breeding program but my friend really likes her so she gets to stay on as a layer.

Does she roost with the rest of the flock or stay on the floor? I was wondering if she has normal balance. My tail-less Marans seemed to be a floor dweller, but that could have been because he was the lowest ranking cockerel.

She has been in a grow out hoop coop without a roost. She is 20 some weeks old now and was supposed to go out in the field with the rest of the girls & the few boys that made the cut off. Their coop is a long horse trailer with a double roost the length of the trailer. I'll have to go out there in the evening and see if she is roosting in it.
