Langshan Thread!!!

Just started with White Langshans this spring. They are one of my favorite breeds in my flock. The girls have been a bit rough on my poor cockerel and plucked all his tail feathers. I took him out and put him with a better crowd until they grow back. Hope to have him recovered by September for the County Fair!
 
No kidding?! I've never had Langshans be pluckers. In fact, I walked into my Whiting Blue Eggers picking each other and I was in shock. It's been so long since I've had feather pickers...Would love to see photos of your whites!

Elmer, those appear to be white Cochins. The skin of a Langshan is white so there would be no yellow beak or legs. They are also lacking in overall type but have the large amounts of feathering for a Cochin.
