I'm so excited today!!! This morning, I received an email from the breeder in AZ that Dirt got his black roo from. His hens are laying like crazy and he has a group of eggs in the incubator that he is testing for fertility tonight. If all goes well, he will ship my eggs to me next week!!! Yippeeeee!!!!

Here is my Langshan hen, is she SQ?

Would like to see a side picture. But from what's visible I'd like to see a bit wider tail (although it looks a little torn up in picture so maybe after she molts it'd be wider?), a bit more feathering on outer toe, again it's a bit torn up so she'll get a pass for that. The biggest concern I'd have without seeing her size in person is judging from the head on pictures it looks like she could use a little bit more leg.

So your question was is she Show Quality? I have certainly seen worse exhibited from what I see in pictures, only thing I can't tell is size (weigh her and compare to standard weight), so I'd say yes. If I'm right about the leg thing she's not going to win you any big awards but she's not poor quality from what I can see.

Comb: Single; of medium size, straight, upright, having five points, evenly serrated, not conforming closely to neck, fine in texture.
