Thanks for the info, I think! I really need some land right now! It is so hard to think about narrowing down to only 2 roos especially when they take so long to develop. I know it's just a guess at this point, but if I post more pics of the boys, will you all tell me how they look?

I'm not the expert like Ms Mikaela is but I'll give it a try. If you have a front view, side view, and a close up of the head it may help. Additional options are from overhead and from behind as well.

Thanks, Jim. I think that I only have side views of the ones at the ranch. I'll be back there on Friday and can take some more. Tomorrow I'll take some more pics of the ones that I have here. I really appreciate the help.

By the way, 4 of my boys are from eggs from you, Jim! They were the ones that pecked the other chicks when they were in the brooder. Now that they have room to roam and the older hens to keep them in their place, they have calmed down. Of course, my favorite one is the smallest. He is smaller with a tiny tail but built like a brick.

I don't know. Cheryl hatched them and I raised them from 3-4 days old. They are 14 weeks old now. She is on vacation this week but maybe when she gets back, she can let you know.

This is my favorite one. It's not a very good picture because he would not stand still for anything. He started off with the name Ringo but lately we have been calling him Biggie Little!

I'd be happy to and Jim will be just as good as I am I'm sure!! I'm definitely not an expert on them, just love the breed!

If you can, I'd keep 3. Never know when your "back up" is gonna decide to kick the bucket! Or maybe it's just me that's lucky that way!

Okay, I finally have the pics of my cockerels edited! I'm only posting pics of the 20 week old and the 15 week olds. I do have a 12-13 week old black cockerel, also. I'm going to put the pics of each boy in a separate post. Thank you so much for any comments, critique you can give me!

Cockerel 1 - "Romeo" 20 weeks old from Skyline I think that he must be going through a juvie molt because he has 3 stray feathers sticking up on his tail.

Boy #2 "Biggie Little" 15 weeks from Jim. This little guy is smaller than his other 3 hatchmates but he suffered a bad pecking from them so I think that he's a little behind in growth. He is a solid little thing and much friendlier than the others. It looks like I didn't get a top shot of him. They were very freaked out about my camera!
