(were you referring to me... if not, move along!)

No idea what causes this... as if she wasn't a freak in the chicken yard before this was noticed. Now all the kids are going to be teasing her.

Good morning all!

3 of 5 computers in this house went down yesterday, so I will be on and off sparodically whilst I attempt to fix them.

QUick update: I recieved 24 eggs in the mail yesterday, 1 smashed.

I stuck 10ish under 3 broodies, and the rest in the Brinsea.

Well I got back last night to find one solitary pip, there were two by bedtime. This morning, one chick, two more pips. These are the laziest I have ever known, not even bothering to peep much. We'll see how much higher the volume gets when they are out and in the brooder!

HOORAY! received 20 new eggs today from Cloverleaf Farms.. Amer's and bantam Amer's.. BEAUTIFUL eggs.. great packaging. SO.. now I just have to figure out how to do a staggered hatch in a 1620

They are about 9 days apart. What do you do with the eggs in the bator that need to be turned while the others are in "lockdown"? Do you still open to turn etc?

Advice please
